Upon receiving your Home Chef box, you should always promptly inspect your delivery to confirm that the ingredients arrived in a cool, refrigerated condition, and the shipping container and its contents are not visibly damaged. Please contact our customer support team as soon as is convenient by email, chat or phone if there are any missing or damaged items in your order.
To maintain the quality and safety of the products, we recommend that upon receipt of your Home Chef box you immediately refrigerate all perishable products and follow all U.S. Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) guidelines on food safety for refrigerated/frozen storage and safe food handling and U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") guidelines specific to the storage and safe handling of seafood. Failure to follow safe food handling practices and temperature recommendations may increase the risk of foodborne illness.
