How do I add a gift card to my account?

If you're signing up with Home Chef for the first time, you'll be able to enter your gift card code during the sign up process to redeem it.

If you're an existing customer, you can redeem your gift card by clicking 'Account' in the upper right corner and then selecting 'Redeem a Gift Card' or by clicking here. 

Remember that promotions intended for first-time customers will not be eligible for redemption at the same time as gift card redemption during sign-up. You should redeem the gift card after purchase. However, you will need to add payment information if a gift card is not applied or does not cover the full first box. How do I check my gift card balance?

If you have not yet redeemed your gift card to your Home Chef account, you can check the balance of your gift card here.

If you have redeemed your gift card to your Home Chef account, please log into your account, and you will see your gift card balance in the Credit/Discount section in the upper right corner of your dashboard.​

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Equivalent to the value loaded on Card. Usable up to balance only for Home Chef meals and not for any other goods or services. Valid for new and existing customers in the contiguous United States. If you are an existing customer, you can redeem your Card value under https://www.homechef.com/account/redeemagiftcard and your credit will be applied to your next delivery. If you are a new customer, Card value can be redeemed at https://www.homechef.com/account/settings/redemption/new. New customers will be enrolled into an auto-renewal subscription upon redemption and can pause or stop deliveries any time before noon (CST) the Friday before delivery. Customers can check the balance in their account after redeeming their Card. Limit of one Card per order and cannot be combined with any other promotion. Not redeemable for cash except as required by law. Not a credit or debit Card. Safeguard your Card; it will not be replaced or replenished if lost, stolen, altered, illegible or used without authorization. Card may be deactivated or rejected if Card issuer, in its sole discretion, suspects fraud. Not reloadable. No fees and does not expire. Relish Labs LLC d/b/a Home Chef is the Card issuer and sole obligor to Card owner. Home Chef may delegate its issuer obligations to an assignee, without recourse. If delegated, the assignee, and not Home Chef, will be sole obligor to Card owner. Purchase, use or acceptance of Card constitutes acceptance of these terms.
